Im interested in seeing what the history of my truck is who owned it before me if it was a service truck of any kind. But having trouble locating a website that will do a pre 1981 vehicle report i was thinking maybe you could help?.

No clue...if you find an old one..let me know. I only know the history back through the two previous owners.

You could contact your DMV and for a fee they should be able to tell you who has all owned the vehicle. As far as a report of where it was built, on what date, all the options, etc. go to Marti Auto Works website

If you join the AAA ,they can do a complete history of the former owners.

Carfax has to have a 17 digit vin to trace a vehicle. Pre 1981 would be 11 digits or if early enough, 7 digits. With carfax you're outta luck.
