I guess my first question would be, is it possible to install an oem keyless entry pad on a vehicle that was not equipped from the factory?

You can, but its not as simple as just installing the touchpad. Theres wiring harnesses, either drivers door module, vehicle security module, GEM module, and doorlock actuators. There are aftermarket kits available (some even through Ford).
