Just a little project I am working on...

I picked up a set of stock headlights and corners off a lightning. So before installing them I am doing a little modifying....

Just after removing the lenses

What happens when you hold the heat gun a little to close for a little too long! And I mean a LITTLE!

Starting to scuff up the chrome...

Sanded...

Taped and Primed...

I got three coats of paint on them tonight. I am doing a Dark Metallic Grey so it matches the accent color on the truck. I am also touching up the little bulb cover that is on the inside (HEHE it even says SVT on it as you can see in the first pic!)

I will post more progress pics tomorrow... But this is what I have so far...
