issues today?

I couldn't get onto FTF all day today...until just a few minutes ago.

From when I got up at 7:30 until maybe 8:00 or so (EDT) all I got was an error message saying "cannot locate the server at www.fordtruckfanatics.com".

Same computer, browser, and bookmarked link I've been using for months, and am using to get on here now. Every other website I tried worked fine.

I assumed the server was down, but now that I'm on here, I see there have been posts all day...anybody know what was going on?

I have been able to log in all day, not a bit of problem there..

but seems like I been having trouble posting. I press submit, and it just sits there.. till I hit the back button, then foward button. Could just be my comptuer/internet though.

The interweb is a very complex place. It could be a mirror between your ISP and our server went down. Don't know what to tell ya...

i've read about how that site works before, but can't find it now. it's not 100% accurate, and can't figure out all of life's problems, but i found this blurb from here

There's no info on the site explaining exactly how it checks to see if a site is up, but the results appear to be at least as accurate as emailing your friend and asking for a second opinion.

*BONUS LINK: i discovered a new site when looking for that info. instead of hitting refresh if you do find a site that's down, use Notify Me When It's Up to have it email you.
