Interior pics

Going through some of my SD cards and found some pics I had taken from the summer.

I'd love to have that interior for my Bronco

Sweet! I dig the two-tone door panels and it's great to see the seats not degraded--that woven vinyl stuff never held up well in all the dents I've seen...

So bizarre that there are no head rests...

Nice lookin truck YelloThumbUp

Unless I was stopped and sleeping in the vehicle, I don't think I've ever actually used a headrest. That said, I do wish the seats from that era would be a little higher for more back support...although they're easy enough to swap.

Thanks guys. The bench does have little tears in them. I want to get it redone, but I want the same brown vinly. It will look off if the front bench doesn't match the rear bench. I had a regular bench redone and it cost 450, I'd hate to see what a split plus to try and find original vinly would cost. I'm not going to get the woven inserts put in. I'd get cloth insert or something like in a Ranger XLT.

Headrests are not actually meant for resting your head, kind of a misnomer. They're there to prevent neck injury in the event of an accident.

Really? I liked the height of my bench. Of course, I'm not 7894320 feet tall like you. smilietease

Tell me your joking, Ben.....you knew this! Right? [confused]

No...really I didn't. Figure most of the rigs I've ever owned didn't have head rests...and those that did and others that I've driven, my head typically sits above even the highest adjustment. I literally thought the head rest ws more support when sitting with proper posture. I mean, it makes sense, I just never thought to put two and two together.

Most bench seats I sit on, stop right at the middle of my back. Hell, the Tall Corbeau seats I have in my Bronco stop right at the base of my neck.

As I've said before, my father has shown to me how seats on every single commercial airplane in the skies today, have seats designed for people no taller than 6'...I'd imagine the auto industry isn't much better.

It is actually advised that you DO NOT use the headrest to rest your head, because if you're head is pressed against it during driving then you are restricting your ability to rotate your head for things like checking over your shoulders when changing lanes. I believe I learned that in traffic school.
