...as I suspected, no issues upon initial start up at lunch. Tried leaving lunch, all I got was a buzz. Got a jump and she fired right up. Geez, if I woulda known it was gonna be such a headache today, I woulda found a nut last night and re-hung the exhaust pipe properly from the manifold.

Looks like you'll have to do a little bit of work on the truck when you get home, but at least it isn't anything major.

Yeah...this weekend will be booked, well saturday at least. Rehang the exhaust. Retorque mani bolts. Probably get a new starter. Pull the drive shaft (might wait til next weekend). Take a look at the tranny modulator. See if I can track down any more vacuum leaks (front and rear of intake mainly). Search/research tranny coolers. And try to find a tranny pan that doesn't involve and crossmember mods (found one by PML, but it's $195).

Maybe the cooler alone will help before you put out $195 for a trans. pan.

You're nuts if you think I'm paying $195 for a trans pan...I'll triple up on trans coolers before I do that, by God...hahahaa. I can get a pan for $65, but I hear there are crossmember clearance issues. I'm starting to think there's a conglomerate of issues causing the tranny issues. Exhaust heat, modulator, stock cooler, etc.

Hahah three trans. coolers would be funny. Then maybe you could put some small computer fans on them for extra cooling too.
