I was wondering when it would finally hit you... You always expressed love for that truck, I couldn't understand why you were so quick to put it up for sale.

He saw something shiny...:p

I don't know what I'm gonna do next year when it comes time to get a newer vehicle. All logic says to get rid of my Ranger as soon as I can afford something decent, but I just can't bear the thought of selling or trading it in.

Maybe I'll get it professionally restored.

No. As in, another 10+ years as my daily driver.

Maybe I'll still be driving it to work when I retire.

I'm in the 'never get rid of my truck' category. You have to limit yourself to about 2 trucks at once though, otherwise you get the used ford truck sales lot look and you can't realistically afford to keep all of them up anyway.

My dad still daily drives the 1989 F150 he ordered new. Shows what happens when you get married, have children, and save to retire... Truck: See signature.

We hope to get it back to new, and maybe even do a turbo and some other modifications. At least its cheaper than a new one.

I loved the original Grim Reaper. I say you keep it man, its an awesome truck.

Been there about 20 times. Last 3-4 that had my blood sweat tears . I drove till nothing left literally . Then I use for parts .

Hate to see it go but You only have room for one. I just saw the front clip of my old bronco on ebay while back .It still hurt even 5 years later

I have 5 trucks right now. Most r parts but u know. I feel for ya.

mine would suck to get rid of, it was my dads and grandfathers.. dad bought it n 96 with 30k on it, gave it to my grandfather in 03 when my dad bought his new truck and i got in 06 after i got my licence...

i plan to make it a project when i get another car/truck, hoping to find a shit gen 1 lightning pull and rebuild the motor as well as build it up then drop it in my truck

I wanted a 56 when I was 14. It took me a long time to finally get one (I'm 41 now). I would hate to ever have to sell it, but.....

If I had a family (which I do not) that was in a dire financial situation, the truck would be gone. My truck has no family history. No ties other than me emotionally. Family would come first, always.
