here is the basic way to do a good seafoam treatment on one of our trucks.
STEP 1: Buy some Seafoam
STEP 2: Pour 1/3 can into gas tank
STEP 3: Disconnect brake booster vacuum line.
STEP 4: slowly and i mean slowly pour 1/3 of a can of the seafoam into the booster line.
If you pour too quickly it will choke the engine out and itll stall.
STEP 5: Shut engine off let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Step 6: (OPTIONAL) I chose to not do this since i just did an oil change.
You can pour the other 1/3 of the can in the oil Crankcase. but do this only if your fairly close to an oil change.
If you dont do this you can pour the rest into the gas tank
STEP 7: After it has set restart the engine rev it for a minute or 2, and watch all the smoke come out. If you want to go the extra mile, drive the Hell out of it. Don't freak out if there isnt any smoke. that just means you have a pretty carbon free engine. like i had 0 Smoke come out but i use fuel additives every couple fill ups.
