if its a C6 it will be geared different and it will have a different modulator valve on it..

best bet is to find another tranny out of a truck..

Is your 351 rebuilt? If it's 30 years old,I'd be willing to bet that's part of the reason you have no power.I really don't think going for different ratios in the transmission will help you get more power,if your engine isn't putting power to the transmission.Focus on the engine first and see where that gets ya.

Uh huh...Which C6 gear is truck only? In fact, what C6 internal parts are truck only?

Next to no parts are truck only...the valve body is the major difference, the output shaft/extension housing is specific to 2WD trucks (due to its length) and 4WD's, the pan is truck/Bronco only.

Same-o same-o: Forward, direct, reverse clutches, all the seals, bearings, bushings, gaskets, snap rings, planet assy, sun gear, drums, pumps, cylinders, pistons, modulator valve, torque converter.

Someone asked this same question last week on t'other site. One member chimed in and said...'Oh, it's all different.'

I laughed out loud when I read that crappola, cuz it ain't.
