Help Decode my real Vin Number

Hi. This is my first post. Thank you for all the helpful information posted.

I recently purchased a "1973" F-100 Custom Cab with the following Door Tag Info:
F10GERG1348
117 U F103 6 4 C 08
0500 93

I have the latest license registration an it matches the door Tag. The Door Jam Sticker was painted so it is illegible. The other source I have is the firewall Buck tag with the following info:

469 F1CGNEE6283 97
9A 17 4AB 15B1

I'm trying to find which one is the correct Vin Number, Year, Exterior and Trim Color.

The truck right know has blue interiors and the exterior is green but has white and black colors behind. My questions are: there is any other tag to double check the firewall info? How I can decoded? How reliable is this information?

Thank You,

Claudio (Puerto Rico)

The one stamped into the steel on the top of passenger side frame rail between the firewall and rad support.
Usually around the middle somewhere

The Buck tag is from a 79 and the C is actually a 0 (zero)

Yes.Thank You for the response. It what I suspected. Can you decode the Exterior and Interior Trim colors? From the Buck Tag, it seems is White Exterior with Blue interiors (at least the cab). Do you know if there is any other place that I can found the VIN number?

That buck tag is from a 1979 Truck

You have to match the frame VIN# to one of the two plates

I already mentioned where the IMPORTANT VIN# is stamped

You can decode the plate yourself with info located in my FTF On site Gallery
