Headers for the 460.

So ive been looking for headers and it seems most of em are for non smog or injection heads. I plan on having no emissions anyway will they bolt up to the head?

Buy them for what ever fuel system your 460 has. Factory EFI have square exhaust ports, carb engines have oval.

Yes, if you get the correct header like Justin said. Since your deleting the emissions, the headers you get can be either with a provision or without. (You would just have to use the plug for the headers with a smog hook-up.)

I figured they just mean not for emissions vs not for my head. Stupid description is super vague.....

Since your truck is a '95, pretty sure all the headers you search will come back with a smog hook-up, whether you use it or not. I have BBK stainless shorties on my '83 and I had to use the plug on the passenger side header. Couldn't find a set without the darn smog hook-up.

FWIW, these are what I used on mine. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-89510/overview/make/ford/model/f-250/year/1993 Doesn`t seem right though, because the description says stock flange and mine have a baal and socket. Either way, the only smog hook-up they had was for the EGR, which was orientated wrong any ways. Nothing for the AIR. Oh, and I had to take off my tranny crossmember brace to clear the included y-pipe.

Those were the ones I was gonna buy. Ok so at least i know they fit, the only other prob I have is none are for a manual trans. Ill make em fit. Thats what a welder and a torch is for.
