Also there is some fiction in his decription of a camper special.

Some body set me strait if I'm wrong--but I thought there were no 4x4 Camper Specials**?**

And didn't all the Camper Specials have the extended wheel base with the spare tire door on the bed side?

It also doesn't look like a High Boy to me--it looks like it sits the same as my '79.

Steve...you're confusing the SUPER camper specials with camper specials. Although after 77 (I believe) Ford dropped the 'SUPER'.

As for this truck...it does look pretty good, and doesn't seem to not match his description. Although, as we all know, the 460 wouldn't have been in there...but he didn't say that was original...just that 'the running gear is...'. I didn't know there was a difference in clutches though...maybe there is, maybe there isn't...I dunno. Taking a look at the bed...looks like it has a dummy door, in the second to last pic, it doesn't look like there's another gas tank under there. Also...is it me, or does the carpet look green? I'd also have to question how pristine the truck is...looks like a lot of age on the door panels and the gas/brake pedals...but that's a given with this guy. The truck does look like a quick paint/detail fluff up job. But beyond that, looks like the guy is starting to tone down his act and isn't as snakey as before. Overall, I think it's a pretty good looking truck, and doesn't appear to be too far from the truth. Although, I'd like to see what the VIN actually is.

Gotcha. Yea--I noticed the 460 thing too--but you're right, he doesn't say all original. It is a good looking truck. Might not be a bad buy if you could get the real facts on it.

Well as for the clutch on my 390 thers two patterns of hole on the fly wheel for two different size clutches. I cant remember exactly what size but there was only a 1/2 inch to inch difference in em. I dont know if a 460 fly wheel is the same but id guess it was.

It's a C6, he's talking the clutch packs inside of it, only thing I can think of would either be thicker clutches and plates or a couple extra of each, they were all the same diameter...

I don't understand. How could you put more plates in the same size housing as stock? Fewer thicker perhaps, but more? Sorry for the dumb question, ... I'm always learning.
