ok guys i am needing a list of what all vehicles came with GT40 heads. im going junkyard hunting this next week. this is the list i know of..

Mustang Cobras 93-95s
F150 Lightnings 93-95
Explorers ? on years

are there any others im missing???

if yall could also fill in the blank on the years the explorer 5ohs came with them.

My GT40 heads actually came out of a 93 Mustang Cobra, so include that on the list.

1997-2001 Explorer's had the GT-40P heads. I have heard that the 1996 Explorer's had actual GT-40's.

1997-2001 Explorer's had the GT-40P heads. I have heard that the 1996 Explorer's had actual GT-40's.

1995 to 1997 1/4 had GT40's, in 1997 GT40P's started showing up, so the 1997 year is a one or the other kinda thing....

ok... change of plans... found out the D0 heads i was gonna possibly pick up were 302 heads. but........ look at this deal.....
the only thing these heads dont have is rocker arms....

well im trying to get the answer on weather or not the Comp Cams K35-238-3 cam is SD compatible or not. if it is ill be using it, if not ill sell it and buy the cam i was originally gonna buy.

It's not.. and those heads needed valves and who knows how much work so overall it probably wouldn't have been $$ well spent.
