I've just started looking for a truck to buy and I knew I had to get a dent side just because I love the looks. I found this 1976 (possibly 1975) F100 4x4. The seller is asking 6000$ obo. He says it has a 360 cu with a 2bbl carb, a 4 inch lift kit with a 3 inch body lift, a 4 speed transmission, and headers on his ad. I emailed him asking him about specifics of the truck. He told me nothing has been replaced or rebuilt. Everything is stock except for the lift kit and tires. He did say the engine had been bored out from a 360 to a 390. This is a little suspicious because I've done my research and 1. the FE engines are bad to bore out and 2. The 360 and 390 engines are identical except the 390 has a shorter stroke. So one would only need to replace the internals to make a 360 into a 390. The other weird thing he said was the truck had 56k on it but the last owner told him it had "turned over since". I have no clue what that means. Anyways here is the truck. So do yall think? Is it a nice buy or over priced?
