The bumper is a completly different shape, I bet you can get it on tho.
 
At the risk of embarrassing you I am going to plead with you, do not muck up one of the finest examples of an '88 Bronco on the planet with a jacked up, will fit brush guard. I'll sick Chris on you where he can give you the speech I gave him.

Wow, that was easy..... Now, if you really want to do something that will improve the looks of your Bronco, take those cheese ball running boards off of there and list them on craigs list.
 
Mine are in good condition and I want to take them off but I was told that "I just bought this care, there's no way you're tearing into it"

My 85 used to have em but I took em off when I was 13 or 14 and it looks 100% better its also stock hieght in the front dad added a 1/2 inch taller stock block on the rear when we replaced the rear end.

As I said i wand most people i've talked to want/say to remove them but I've been told no.
