fuel advice

Hey FTF's,
Rider here with a question on what to do with the gas in my 19 gal front tank. Just found out my sending unit and its lp pump isn't working. I gonna say there was at least 12 gals in the tank and I don't know for how long it's been in there. Just bought the truck and topped it off with 7 gal more of fresh gas. (mistake!) I was hoping the sending units float was the only issue as the gas gage level was at zero. But noooooo, it crapped out me after a ten mile test drive. Thank God the rear tank works!
Any suggestions on what to do with this gas? Will a match test proof the gas. I don't want to throw it out if it's good. I can siphon/drain the gas for my wife's car. Where to bring the gas if it's bad?
any help would appreciated
Thanks

I have parked vehicles for 2+ years in a climate controlled space and not had old fuel issues, I do out a stabilizer/storage solution in though...If you are worried about it, siphon it out and use it in the mower.

I personally use dry gas and plenty of StaBil, after I fill my tanks when I put " The Lady " to bed for the winter, and I don't have any problems with bad fuel in the spring, and all I do is just simply change my fuel filter in the spring, and I also rotate my tanks I'll use my main tank one week, and the next week I'll fill my main tank and I'll run my auxiliary tank to constantly keep fresh gas flowing through the system, and it also to keep the little valves and linkages on the switching mechanisms freed up and working.smilieFordlogosmilieFordlogo
