alright guys... the time has come... the Flareside has got to go. Going to hopefully get a 94 F250 Powerstroke ZF-5 4x4....

anyways...

'94 351W engine, great condition, still see crosshatches in cyl's. GT40 heads, Custom Ground Roller Cam, Short Tube Headers. E4OD with shift Kit, 4.10 Gear with Detroit Locker kit in Rearend.

Low miles on entire Drivetrain.

needs Ball joints, and possible fuel pump. (hoping to kill the fuel pump thought with a fuel filter change today)

runs like a raped ape.. cant belive the way it runs..

i aint gotten to the fuel filter yet. im betting its clogged up.. the fuel pump is kicking on... has pressure.. just the fuel isnt fully making it to the engine.. just the time has come for a change...

Considering the time and money you have in to your truck getting it the way you want it...would it be really practical to get rid of it?...I'm not trying to give you chit by any means.
If you are considering a diesel...just beware that when things go south with them, it's usually not a cheap prospect.
In any case, best of luck with whatever way you go.

Its always tough to part with something you have poured your heart and money into. When its time to let go of something, you just know it. I won't tell you to keep it, best of luck.

Awesome, I've had those same feelings for mine myself recently. Apparently the market is better up there because I've got mine listed at the same price with hardly any bites..... Good luck Chris!

Shame you weren't closer to california - nice looking truck worth a fortune out here.
Hope you get her sold and onto the next project
Cheers Mark

Dont be so sure. These punks don't even wanna buy mine for a measly $4500 :p
Nah i meant out here in New Zealand - i'd buy yours in a heartbeat but unfortunately its too new for me to put on the road out here 20 year rule for emissions and also after 20 years you don't have to convert it to right hand drive

Just to give you an idea of what these trucks are selling for out here - not really selling quick due to gas prices at $8.50 nzd / gallon but this is a typical asking price for an 1988 F150 extended cab

I've got an 87 std cab f150 5.0 and i managed to pick it up really cheap from a retired chap who was importing parts and overstock tools from harbourfreight tools in california - even so it still cost me $7500

had a guy come look at it tonight... liked it.. wants it, just wants a second opinion on the engine from someone not involved in the sale.. he's thinking valve train also, or fuel injectors stopped up...
