Found This Old Photo

I was going through some old pictures and found this picture of a feed store that my parents bought chicken feed, etc. from in Western Colorado. They also sold coal. My dad bought a ton of coal for a coal stoker furnace, and the owner asked me if I wanted to ride in the truck when he delivered it. Of course I said yes!

It was located in Fruita, Colorado, just west of Grand Junction.

Yes! We went in there years ago when the kids were little. They had an animatronic dincosaur in the lobby. It scared the crap out of the kids, literally. :

That's a neat area, lots of history there.

Yes, I do. I moved away from that area in 1981. I had family in the area until 2006. Haven't spent a lot of time there since. I can still remember the smell of fermented ensilage emanating off the truck.
