I'd just go with a full synthetic right now....whatever brand you can get at the best price.

im not gonna be skimping on this engine at all..

it'll never see any less than 93 octane, nothing less than premium oils, and when sensors etc. go bad it'll be getting Motorcraft sensors etc..

One thing you want to keep in mind regarding octane is to use the minimum you can...higher octanes have less energy and will produce less power if you don't have the CR to use it...plus it costs more.
You can actually wind up making less power with a higher octane if your engine doesn't need it.

this combo is got about 10:1 compression.. maybe a lil more.. forgot to measure deck-piston height..

That static or dynamic?...you might want to check with your builder...just want you to get the most out of your build! YelloThumbUp

idk wtf static or dynamic means.. but this is his quick math in his head, and he's put together many 302's..

Static refers to the CR as calculated by the piston to head....dynamic is what actually matters as the cam will determine that.
