Firefox Issues?

I know I'm new here but I usually use Firefox for the net and while on this forum, it "blinks" when I post or refresh. Just blinks once, like it gets hungup showing the banner or something. I thought it was just my work pc but it does it at home as well. So I tested it, I'm on IE8 now, and it doesn't "blink". Anyone else with this issue?

chris is our resident firefox lover. He might be able to help.

Are there any options about 'redrawing' in the tools/internet options area? If there are, set them to 'instant' or whatever comparible setting might be.

I've always used Firefox on this forum and have never had any problems. Sounds like pretty strange behavior. Can you reset your browser settings to default or do you have it highly reconfigured to your liking?

Its pretty basic. I have like 4 or 5 add on's but nothing big. Its strange that it happens on two different computers.

Maybe update your firefox.

Are you using the same add-ons for both machines? It could be one of your add-ons causing the problem. Try running firefox is 'safe mode'.

Also which version is it?

It's version 3.0.10. I think it might be the ads? I just added the ad blocker.

That seemed to fix it on my laptop at home. There is a google ad at the bottom of the page. With the ad blocker, it blocks it and no "blink blink".

Sweet! Can you add an exception to the Ad Blocker addon so it won't block ad's on FTF?

Yup! I can still see the sponsor ads but just blocked out the google one.
