F150 Wont Start

I have a 1994 F150. The truck has the 300 straight six. Was running fine one day then all of a sudden wouldnt start in the morning. It cranks over and it gets a spark but it wont start. I can hear the fuel pump come on but havent pulled a plug to see if it is getting any fuel in the cylinder. Any ideas.

Welcome to the site! I am not familiar with the fuel injected 300s, but I love my old carbed 300! Someone more familiar with the newer trucks should be along to help out!

Need to check fuel pressure at the fuel rail.. Should be mid 30's psi.

Then verify 100% it's getting spark with an inline spark checker..

use a circuit tester and verify power (pulsing) at the injectors

If you have pulse in your injectors look into the (icm) ignition control module. Mine had the same thing happen not so long ago

The truck has no fuel pressure. I took a hose off the fuel filter and turned the key. The fuel pump is working. Bad fuel pressure regulator?

Other than a clogged fuel line, it would almost have to be the pressure regulator.

thanks. its a cheap part but a pain to get to.

It's much easier to unbolt the rail from the intake and lift that side up so you can get to the bolts on the FPR.
