engine swap

I have a 97 f150 4x4 was wondering if I swap out the entire 4.6 drivetrain for 4.6 drivetrain out of a 2000 will I have any issues??? swapping the engine tranny and transfer case

If there both 4wd then it will all swap over. Just keep the drive shafts for the vehicle your swapping into. Unless there both identicle in length.

Also, are the transmissions the same?
Im not sure on years and transmissions available on the newerish models...
