engine coil

It's time to replace the original coil for the 1983 F250 with the 351 Windsor engine with the DuraSpark ignition. What is the best replacement coil choice? The coil on there now has the slide terminals instead of nut and washer connection, and I have the factory tach option. Most of the coils I've seen will require cutting the factory connections. Thanks, Roy

One just like the one that is on it now. The factory ones are more than adequate for a stock engine or one slightly modified.

I agree with Randy in that a quality stock replacement should easily do the job. That said, I do like Pertronix units, but I'm not familiar enough with your coil to know if they have something that will be a drop in replacement.
