EGR valve compatability

Are all egr valves compatable across all years of 6.0's?

Just off the top of my head, no. The early 6.0s had a different one (internal spring pressure), the rest are interchangeable.

Okay now for some part numbers. The 2003 and 2004 model years use CX-2056. 2005 and up model years use CX-2020.
