ok ive figured out that this is the cause of the vibration. i have a new one ready to put on. and i have the driveshaft dropped and out from under the truck. i pull on the rear drive shaft and it starts to pull out and just stops. how the hell do i get the drive shafts sepperated to put the new support and bearing in?

Sometimes, there is a screw-on cap that has to be removed before the splines can "release", but generally they'll come out.

That "lip" should come off with the bearing. Its just a pressed on bearing with a rubberized outside. When you put it back on, I usually used a big pipe that fit down over the shaft to pound it into place.

when i was trying to hammer the entire thing off the rubber was braking and i decided to just take the rubber off. and now im down to the actual bearing and the pressed in piece. its not wanting to budge no matter how much force and different ways im trying.

Where your finger is, is the start of the bearing race. You have that flat part, then the concave part, then another flat. After that last flat, thats where it has to separate from the shaft. Heat does wonders. Heat it up, then commence beating. It needs to get red hot.
