Fire in the hole...
Well, I am trying to scrape some money together to get my wife a nice new vehicle. She had been driving her college car, an older Grand Am, but we gave it to her younger sister who just got her drivers license. I am not sure what we are getting her yet, but she deserves something nice.
1995 F150 4x4
5.8L/Auto
31X10.5 tires with good tread left. It has a TruSpeed for adjusting the speedometer so it stays accurate (cost about $200)
No fender well rust. It has a few dings, dents and scratches. It has been used as a work truck. It has been very reliable for me.
135K miles
$3500 or best offer
2000 Mercury Mountaineer
5.0L V8/Auto
BW4406 manual transfer case (true 4x4 with low range, not AWD)
255/85R16 BFG KM2s (33x10.5) on 16" Black Rock USA Wheels (with matching spare)
RLC Fab Front winch bumper
With 3.73 gears, you can get close to 20 MPG without trying to hard.
