Double Ad: 95 F150, 2000 Mountaineer

Well, I am trying to scrape some money together to get my wife a nice new vehicle. She had been driving her college car, an older Grand Am, but we gave it to her younger sister who just got her drivers license. I am not sure what we are getting her yet, but she deserves something nice.

1995 F150 4x4
5.8L/Auto
31X10.5 tires with good tread left. It has a TruSpeed for adjusting the speedometer so it stays accurate (cost about $200)
No fender well rust. It has a few dings, dents and scratches. It has been used as a work truck. It has been very reliable for me.

Not really actually. I never formed a sentimental attachment to it. To me it was just a truck to drive, nothing special. I really don't think I could sell my Mountaineer though, the more I think about it.

I almost did. I had two guys look at the F150 within 45 minutes of each other. Both had cash in hand. The second guy to see it had dibs though, as he had called first and I promised I wouldn't sell it until he looked at it, and was driving about 200 miles to see it. He drove it home.

The first guy to see it (that didn't get it) wanted the Mountaineer since he missed out on the F150. My wife told me that I have put a lot of work into it and should keep it because I would miss it if it was gone.

She was right. She is always right.
