door latches

My fingers hurt, my arms are torn up, I tore a fingernail. Have been replacing all door latches and lock actuators on a 2000 explorer Eddie Bauer. The left rear wouldn't open from the inside or the outside. Lots of fun!

I woulda told the owner to simply not use that door anymore.

That would have been a sight, seeing your behind in that seat removing the inner panel from the inside then working the lock inside the door! My knees still hurt from squatting so long!

^^^That's why you're the best though man...you can and are willing to make those fixes. Hell, I barely fit in an explorer as is, much less contorted for a fix.

Its getting more difficult for my old carcass to contort like that any more. Hopefully I can make it another 8-10 years.
