door edge guards

U know every truck I bought new till the 95 had stainless door edge guards . A option I know .

Been looking for them have yet to see a set since I sold my old 93 truck .I knowthey get yanked off ,removed for paint work ETC ETc .

Anyone got any ?

I have no clue what you're talking about, lol. I've never seen those, I'd like to see a picture.

i know what you mean. i've got it in black on mine.

it's "glue-on" trim to protect the edges of the door. it's maybe 1/2cm wide. it's just a little rubber to protect the corner of the door from nicks. it also gives a little protection to other cars when you open your doors

it starts just below the handle and above the door lock and ends just above the bottom of the door

All Mine form factory were stainless. I can remember in mid 90's going to a dealer and them having all sorts of "ford" Items on stock . Stainless scratch gaurds for behind handle ETC.

Yea I never thought of the catologs . I always find cheap elsewhere once shipping is added in . I'll have to start paying attention .

But its one of those things I always look for when looking at parts trucks.
So I'll keep looking for now . Just thought some one here would have one or a set .


They r nice to prevent chips because of those ballards in gas stations or what ever .
