I need some info, my truck has a shift light from is prior engine config. I am not sure but it must of had a electronic straight six. When I got it there was no engine just computer and engine harnes. It current config now is 351W carburated and 3 speed with granny and the cab is f150 on a f250.
I want to put a 86 v8 fuely setup on it.
I know the engine computer harnes should plug right in. I got the fuel shut from the 86, will my 84 f150 shift light become the emission light by default? The 86 has a emisions light.
What else will I need from inside the 86 f150?
I plan on usinge all the fuel tanks and fuel lines. Have to wire the fuel pumps, with a toggle for the additional tank swith. Mine is only configured for the guage only.
