Divorced NP205 Tag

I wanted to get a replacement metal tag on my NP205 because mines all faded and every time I get under my truck to do something, it drives me nuts. Problem is, I can't read all the info and was wondering if someone has a nice pic or where I could get all the info. I was going to contact Marti Auto to see if they could make me a replacement tag.

^^^^^ I guess it doesn't matter. Whatever would give the info. I'm not sure what Marti Auto would need to reproduce the tag. A pic would be great, but if you just have an illustration, I'd take that and go from there. Thanks.

I'd offer to take a pic of mine for you Buck, but I'm not entirely sure it's still there.

Buck, this is all I could find for a tag on my 205. The tag is below and to the left of the rear output shaft. I'd have to pull the tag to get a closer look/picture. It almost looks like it's partially melted?

Those are trans ID tags, not transfer case ID tags. There is no example of a T/C ID tag in the parts catalog.

The cross reference of T/C ID numbers to Ford part numbers is listed in Text, Section 70, page 6. Section 70 is for M/T's. The T/C's are listed here whether for a M/T or A/T.

The tag on the transfer case was put there by FoMoCo, will have a number like this example: D7TA-7A195-AA.

Ben, there are dozens upon dozens of different T/C ID numbers. So the chances of your ID number matching up with Bucks is miniscule.
