Like I posted before; always been a GM guy and I'm on my first ford project [and loving it]. Not to sound like a dumba$$. But why are the 6th gen trucks called Dentside's? thanks

The older trucks, if you notice, have a body shape down the sides that protrudes outward (a bump) yours, in the same area, is somewhat like a trench down the side (a dent). So, bumpsides, and dentsides.Like I posted before; always been a GM guy and I'm on my first ford project [and loving it]. Not to sound like a dumba$$. Gen 4s have no trim line so theyre called slicks.
Slicks. We used to call them slab-sides before the internet unified terms![]()
Bumpside and dentside are also internet terms. We never called them that back when............and I bought a '77 F100 new......
That just means you're old...I bolded and underlined the phrases that emphasize that...in case your old man eyes couldn't see it...hahahahahahahah
Kids..........sheesh!
Uh, Junior, I wrote that.....I think......uh, what were we talking about there??
You should just thank your lucky stars that your buddy Al Gore invented this contraption or you might have to find something constructive to do today.
