Does My 04 have one and what information does it Record, I see that the Feds
want them in all cars by 2014.

In all seriousness though there is no way to record anything without an external scanner. The ECM has no memory for such things. With a scantool hooked up you just get the normal data like engine and transmission parameters.

What Ive been told the RCM (restraint control module) records speed, brake pedal position, etc. when an accident happens. Whether it does more is anybodys guess.

You'll have no air bags or seatbelt pretensioners, and an airbag light on the dash.
