DARN clutch is out again!!!!help!!

the slavecyl is about 2 months old.. the master cyl is about a year old but has been sitting for a year i only used it about a total of 2 months of driving.. having allot of bad luck with the master.. changed 3 of them already when i was getting a new one napa ones

can anyone recommend me a heavduty/performance master cyl??

its like this it has pressure but not enough.. when you bleed it no air comes out only fluid but not with allot of pressure.. before when we bled it it sprayed on the chassis now its a weak stream to the ground..


clutch / ps is a zoom stage 1 also new.. slave cyl is also new

Ran that by a transmission guru. Is the slave actually failing, or is it just not moving the clutch? His take is that it's unlikely for a slave to fail twice like that- ditto master. The check is to see if the seal in the slave is filling up with fluid. If not, there's air in the system somewhere, and that's what's causing the issues.

If the slave is failing, best guess is to switch from NAPA to Ford OEM.

Side comment: street racing the truck ain't helping matters. That's what Automatics are for (he said it, not me ).

it started to get worse worse and worse over time since last week.. its not moving it allot just like 1-2 cm ?? first it wont shift good now it wont go into gear..

but there is one thing tough! the master was sitting in the truck non operatable for about 10 months maybe it could of rust the cylinder and torn the rubbber?? becuase im not loosing fluid just pressure... we bled it like 15 times no air in the system!.. just not enought pressure coming out of the breather hole..
and i took a peak thru the inspection hole and in there where the slave is and clutch and everything is bone dry no leaking fluid in the slave cyl area


i want a fully manual valve body C4!!!! automatic, screw manual!

Replace the master cylinder thats what I did when my 85 had the same problem might also replace the line while your at it.

allright...

oh line and connections is also new.. i think the sitting of the master cyl made it bad.. and rust out..

im gonna get a new one monday! hope it holds!!

i give up.. tis the Slave cyl again the piston only moves about an inch and i tried to start it with clutch pedal pressed in and in gear and its like there is no clutch at all and the clutch pedal is normal resistance


here i come C4 shiftkit 2500 Stall!

Try adjustin the arm out on the master cylinder and see it it helps.
