now these sound a lil to good to be true but would the heads in this Craigslist add be any good for my motor build? remember im building a 351W.

You can get a set of E7 heads for $25-$50.

The head bolt holes for 302 are smaller than 351. I think it's 7/16 on the 302 and 1/2 on the 351.

Yes they are different, I did drill out a set of 302 heads for a 351, it took forever and like 7 bits.

Check out www.thumperoforangepark.com He specializes in the Ford heads....besides, you can get a stock set of GT40 cast iron heads all day long for 200-300 bucks. And yes, the heads bolt or bigger on the Windsor.

The only old heads worth anything are the C9OE/D0OE 351 heads, and even those aren't quite as good as modern GT40's without some port work. Those Thumper E7's will outperform any hand ported E7 or GT40 so they're easily worth the $$.

at this stage im thinking more mild than originally planned. i had big enough plans it was gonna require a MAF swap. now its gonna stay SD.

You would be happy with a good mild RV cam and those heads....
