So, I redid the wiring for the plug, nice, tight, and shrink tubed to seal the connections. Didn't solve the issue. Plugged in a scan tool, and live feed shows 0 when speedo is dead but registers speed when speedometer is working. Thought faulty sensor so I exchanged it, didn't solve my issues. I've come to the conclusion that my problem is internal and mechanical since the scan tool isn't receiving signal from the computer.

The plastic gear on the sensor looks to be in good shape with no visible damage. This leads me to the gear inside the t-case. Has that been a recorded issue in the past? Can it be replaced? Am I better off swaping the t-case?
