well this morning i went out to start my truck up at 11. it was bout 20* maybe a lil colder. well when i started it up it was like super rough. it felt like it was missing like on half the cylinders. so i shut it off after bout 5 seconds was hoping it would smooth out. well then i started it up again and it was rough for just a second and then smoothed out. any ideas? my IAC was giving me trouble a few months back and i cleaned it up and it went away. might it be the IAC again? just need to go get a new one probably?

Did you try just cracking the throttle a tiny bit when it was running poorly?

If it's the IAC, that should smooth it right out...

*I had good luck cleaning the IAC in my truck, but I know a lot of people find they don't stay clean long.

Cold starts are no fun. The mounty was mad at me early this morning for not plugging it in. -25 when I started it up. I felt bad. :(

Lol could just be the cold. If you gave it gas and it was still rough then that has nothing to do with IAC.
