Clutch Replacment Help, 99 f250 7.3

Hello, i have 99 F250 SD 7.3 with a Edge Programer. I have it set for miledge and turn it up to tow or drive when i tow my 28 ft long enclosed race car trailer. Truck has 128,000 miles on it and my clutch is starting to slip. I would like a better clutch then the stock one but dont want to spend a huge amount of money. What are some tough clutch setups and how hard is this install? I have a lift at my brothers house but i have never done a clutch and need help on knowing what is involved. Havent had the programer on very long and got it to help tow. I feel like the clutch went kinda quick. I dont ride the clutch or anything and just started towing the big trailer about ten times. Do the stock clutch not last that long?

Thanks, Billy

128k is about the life on these trucks sometimes. replacing a clutch is fairly easy, the hard part is wrestling the 800 pound trans lol. DEFINITLY get the flywheel turned, and replace eveything, (fork, throwout bearing, snout, pressure plate, disc, pilot bearing). you may have to knock out the pilot bearing from the backside of the flywheel due to them being stubborn sometimes. other than that, go by the torque specs, take your time, and dont tow for like 500 miles to break in the clutch.
