Saw the window sticker in the pristine Bronco thread so I figured I'd pull mine out and have a look at it... Couldn't believe that my truck was rated for 17mpg from the factory!! :drop:

And the poor saps who bought the truck new paid freakin 1/3 the cost of the truck itself to have it stretched into a crew cab.

That was actualy one helluva lot of money for that truck. We bought a new Suburban in '94, and it stickered for just over $30,000 with everything on it you could hang on one.

Great story with that truck- we were overnighting in Stockton, and in the morning while we were loading up, a guy comes over and sez "I didn't know the 4X4 wheels would fit on that truck."

me: "ummm..... it is a 4X4."

him: "Oh... Hardly ever see those down here."

Does this count as blue? :)

As for the manual tranny... I'm fairly certain that some of the C350's (4door broncos on 1 ton chassis) had standard transmissions with the PSD. Not positive though.

Remember that started life as a 1/2T- and the 351 was not available with a manual that year.

Yeah I noticed that Brad. I think dual tanks is standard but then on the SWB 4x4's the just add an 'option' to the build sheet to make sure they don't try and put dual tanks cuz they didn't fit.

Yeah I noticed... did YOU notice that it was shipped all the way from white pigeon to....OH! White Pigeon! Wow.... the truck "CONVOYED" across TOWN!

My truck was a true oddity in the Nwst- a 5.0 with a EOD. They has a "west coast value package" that gave you the big XLT package, alloys, and other stuff at NC IF you took the 300/302 with a manual. Result- only the 351's were autos out here. Mine came out of Cedar Rapids, Ia originally. amazing how much rust showed through after just one winter back there- but I bought it right.

I knowin 89 they had package that if you ordered a manual you got about all chrome and some other features of XLT . It was only $290 to upgrade from there to full on loaded XLT . Best truck I ever had.
