check engine light

hello everyone i am new on this site so help!! I have a 94 F250 two wheel drive with a 5.0 an i have a ck engine light that comes on and off when the light comes on i don't really feel any performance problem but when the light goes out its like there is no more throttle then press pedal and then get a surge then runs OK then light on same thing over and over i have replaced the tps about a year ago the vacuum sensor that is bolted to the throttle body put water pump on it and some other misc items i have tried to hook up a code machine but doesnt want to read any codes and mileage is getting bad any help from you guys would be great thanks

What code reader did you try to pull codes with? If it is a ford OBDI, and your not getting any codes, not even a 111 code, you got a ECU issue and it may be back feeding to much current to your TPS and eating it..

^ mine did that last year...
