Charging issue.

2002 F150 Supercharged 5.4.

I have tested the batteries, they are both good.
I had the alt. bench tested and it tested good.
I replaced the Fuseable link with 9g. wire.

I am beyond myself. Is it possible for the alt to bench test OK but still not work? Alt. doesn't seem to be putting anything out.

I am going to swap alts again and see if it helps. Drove the truck up to the store and tested it on the vehicle. Said it was only charging at 11.2 and was only putting out 30 amps.

You need to have at least 13.6 volts when its running.

yep. I got the new alt in and broke the clamp on the pos bat side, so now I have to get some new clamps tomorrow and then she should fire off and we will see about if it fixed it.
