Cat making noise! Not rattling. (?)

Well, after replacing my muffler (with a Cherry Bomb! Don't judge ) my catilytic converter has been making this loud snapping noise like the metal is expanding constantly. My temp is good and no hesitation. What do ya think it could be? Thanks!

I do know what makes the noise but why all of a sudden?

The change in exhaust heat from the stock muffler to the cherry bomb is probably enough.

Thats what I thought. It was cheap. Going with my origional plan with a complete exhaust. Thanks!
