Cargo light

Actually, a real simple way to do it is let the truck age. After awhile, the resistor or diode or whatever that keeps the cargo light from coming on with the dome light fails, and the cargo light starts to come on when you open the door, just like the dome. And of course, once you close the door, it goes off.

Cool, didn't realize it would still work if the diode failed. Didn't want to take the head liner out to fix. It was a tight fit to get the replacement one in with the bench in the truck. At the wreckers I had no problem since the truck was stripped inside. :)

I did the swap when my truck was still a Custom trim truck. I didn't have a headliner or any back of cab trim to be in my way. I just pushed the seat forward, sat on the back of it and fished away.lol.
