Cant see timing marks with light from above

1980 F-150 Ranger Lariat with 351M. Too much stuff in the way to point at timing marks. Any suggestions?

No tricks, its just difficult to see. Some vehicles put a round "receptacle" on the timing plate for an adapter that looked for the notch on the balancer.
