I have 97 f250 long bed.Have an opportunity to get a 83 dump truck in poor condition with good dump.I know the wheel base on both trucks is 133".My question is will the dump bed of the 83 f350 fit on my 97 250.

Any competent welding shop can put any bed on any truck. Be aware however the load carrying capabilities of your truck. An f250 is somewhat too light for dump truck duties. Springs, shocks, frame, and possibly brakes will need to be beefed up before you can safely use it.
