My tranny is starting to cry and needs to be rebuilt. It is a full time 4 wheel drive. Does anyone have any good ideas as to what is a good replacement?

Another C6...toughest automatic Ford ever produced. Rebuilding yours will put you somewhere in the $8-1200 if a shop does it, depending on the goodies. If you rebuild it yourself...you're looking at 4-600 depending on goodies. You could roll the dice with a junkyard unit for $75-150. Or snake one from your local classifieds for sub-200. A 4x4 C6 that was behind a 351M/400 or 429/460 will bolt in to place.
