Bronk Ready For Snow

Yea so I decided that im not using the F350 to plow, as its too nice for work now lol. So I got a plow frame for the bronk, cost me 240, then I wanted to beable to use the F350 if needed, so I ordered the plow controls, and wiring for it, 220. Then I got the chance to buy a truck with a plow for 1G, its a 87 Chevy Custom Delux 20 with 65k on it, rotted the hell out, but newer plow blade, pump, and wiring, so I took that all from the truck. Truck also has brand new 235/85/16's on it, so im a swap some junk ones on it from work, and then sell the truck for 1G, caus Chevys are junk and this 1 is a POS.

Wired it all up, put the frame on it, and yea now shes ready, ran into 1 prob, the left frame end was bent in and it was a pain to put the bolts in. When summer comes and I take all the plow stuff off, ill use the torch at work and get it straight. Pain to get the bolts in.

The pump was a funny story, my friend at a swap meet got 2 Meyer E60 pumps for 100 bucks, super deal even in unknow condition. Well he tired to get them to work, but only got 1 to go up, and the other one did nothing, so I was like I want 1, he tried to get 100 out of me, and I was like I dont think so, caus I fix all his stuff when he cant. Got it for 50 and I said id rebuild his also. Well I rebuilt the electric motor, pump, fixed all the broken valves and solonoids. And she works great. Well the kicker one, his one I went to rebuild today, completly trashed, was filled with water, and everything rusty inside it, hahaha he got screwed, hes gonna need alot of parts lol.

I can fit the bronk in the garage with the plow on, and still shut the door, and walk around it, the F350's front bumper has to touch the wall then I can close the door, no room to walk around, love how short it is. Hope I get to use it, winter is almost over.

Those are cool tires, mine only has a A/S 255s. Someday, I might put on 32" M/T if Brad permits .

There 33x12.5's they run a bit small. Got em from a guy in TN for 540 shipped new. Guy is on ebay. I emailed and asked if he could do better, said I need a set of 35's also. They have been awesome. 255's on it? There not stock tires.

They aren't, though it still has the original Grabber A/T (or whatever they are) spare. It also doesn't have original rims.

Plowed most of the day, bronk is nice to plow with, short, tight turning. My only prob was that the rear window didnt wanna work in the am, and it was hard to see out, so i was stickin my head out the window till it wanted to work. Gotta get a switch for it.

Really, we got a foot down here, NJ is wierd, your not even that far from me.

Yeah it is really weird. The reports predicted anywhere from 1-3", 5-6", and up to a foot depending on what you listened to. Visually it looked like around 2 inches that we got. I was hoping for more because we haven't gotten much snow at all this year. I'm surprised you got a foot and we got so little. But it is Jersey. Nothing ever makes sense.

We only got about a foot . Not much . There is a snow belt 3 miles from house where snow is always worse . had 17" in flat open field . Funny how different one hill side is from other.

Yes the Broncos r the best for those tight areas. Even large lots r fine. I sure miss mine.

Plowed pritty much the whole day, woke up 5am, just gettin to bed now 1.47am. Got real job at 7.30. Im a be beat. Prob had 2-2.5 ft today, maybe more, snow was up to my kneee.Got stuck once, will put pic in mornin.

We got around 14 inches or so. Out plowing from 5pm Wed. to 7am Thurs.

We got at least 2ft here, i was plowin from 5am wed morning to 2am thurs morning. Still tired today.
