Seeings how I'm quite a way from the nearest Ford dealer,,,,I'm looking at having to repair a busted fuel line between the in line fuel filter and the injectors. Its a 2002 F250 with 5.4 L engine. Can anybody tell me how much pressure this line has on it and can I get away with eliminating the pressure coupling and the flimsy hose that's pressure fitted on the injector line? I'm looking at slipping a 6 inch piece of rubber fuel line with some barrel clamps on it.:headbang:

So what say yee oh Master Tech...or I mean "Blacksnapon".....Do you think cutting away the rotten hose and barrel clamping a piece of rubber hose will hold 45 + psi without pissing by or slipping off? :toilet:

I guess another question is : Will it hold for the 11 days it'll take for me to get a replacement from the US?
