Anyone else?

I'm noticing that today it seems like very brief periods of inactivity result in being logged out and I have to log back in. I'm not talking 15 to maybe 20 minutes like it once was, but more like under five minutes, maybe even three or so. It's so short that I've to log back in just to submit a post; that never happened before.

Anyone else having this happen to them?

Cookies clear each time I close firefox so good to go there. I don't check remember me because I don't leave passwords stored on my pc. Nothing has changed, until today.

If you don't use the "check me" box...it will automatically log you out after about 20 minutes...or it used to be set to somewhere around there.

Maybe the setting got messed up? Check with Ryan.

I have not had that problem but I know we did do the server upgrade last night so it is possible a setting in your acct got changed.

Have you checked your settings in your control panel?



Bill I checked my CP and did not see where you could change it. I will forward this to pst to Ryan if it has not been done yet.

probably a glich in the system, I have noticed some things too I will bring to the other guys attention tomorrow if it is not cleared up by then. Sorry for the troubles guys, but it comes with the territory of growing bigger and out growing our servers!!! LOL Kinda bittersweet.

It's doing the same thing to me on the school computers.

I can't remember if it used to or not, to be honest. I think it happened occasionally but not as often as today.

I also know these computers have all sorts of settings that default in wacky ways, so they don't do much of anything quite the way you'd expect them to...

I have not been on the school computers since the change over to the new servers. I never had an issue with them before, but Ian is correct. They have all sorts of wacky stuff set on them. I know Deep Freeze and some other stuff are running on them.

I never had problem till today But it kick me out went I went from forums to check PM's there was no inactivity .

But has not done it since.
