aluminum polishing, can i wax it? (Austin)

i polished the wheels for my brothers truck tonight(only 2 yet). they had used a cheap spray on cleaner to clean them so i used a cut type polish called autosol (not sure if you have it there). used a mothers powerball at first then hand after but can i wax them now? so no stains get on them for a while?

Wax away good sir! They look great! You can use a wax or sealant... There are also wheel waxes on the market. Use a synthetic wax for a longer lasting application. With regular washing you'll need to wax them every 6 weeks or so.

Don't use carnauba wax because it will break down easily. Try using optiseal; just make sure that your wheel is really clean before applying it.
