aftermarket stereo wiring

I tried the search first,didnt get anywhere.I want to wire a tuner/CD player in my 78,need to know correct wiring procedure,thanks in advance

Not to sure of your question. An aftermarket radio is simple to wire up. If your looking for specific original wires to wire your radio to I'd have to look them up. There should be a power plug from the original radio you could hook up to.

Get a test light and figure out the "power on" wire in your stock plug and that will be hooked to the "ACC" wire on your CD player. You will have to add a "constant power" from the battery or fuse panel to the "+battery" wire on the CD player. Then of course you'll need to run a ground wire. Everything else is pretty much speaker wire.
